Calling all princesses! There are two popular events coming up for your little royals in training.
First up, This Friday (yeah-tomorrow), Pierce County Parks and Rec is hosting a princess party in the ESB building at Chambers Creek Park in University Place from 7-9PM. Princesses in attendance will enjoy refreshments and take home goody bags and a craft. Fancy dress is a must, obviously!
I just spoke with Jen, and you Can still register for this event. You can call 253 798 4147, or you can register online.
It’s 13.00 per child. Parents typically stay, and you do not need to pay for yourself. If you can’t make this one, there will also be a 2nd party in April at Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup.

This one is at Lakeridge Middle School on the 18th, and it’s a tea and dessert event with princesses Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Merida in attendance. Bring your camera! Festivities run from 2:30-3:30, and it’s 16.00 per person attending. You can read more about this event here.Link opens a pdf, and the event is on pg. 3. You can stop in at the rec center to sign up, or you can call 253 891 6500. There are just a few tickets left.
All of these are open to residents of any area.
There will be still more enchanted happenings in the coming months with the real princesses from the Daffodil Festival. I’ll have the scoop on all of those coming soon!
If your little girl can’t get enough of dress up fun, be sure you’ve also looked at my list of Daddy Daughter dances.
You say you have boys? Yeah-I get that. There are a few mother/son events that come up in the spring, or I’ve got a whole bunch of rowdy fun in the Deal of the Day page today (Mini Golf in the dark! Woot)!
