Woot! Here’s some more great free fun for your Tacoma/South Sound kiddos! Registration is open for the next kids’ building workshop at McClendon Hardware stores Saturday, December 14th at 10AM. It’s a treasure chest project, and it looks really cute.
There are locations in Tacoma, Renton, Sumner, and White Center with spots open.
You do need to register, and spots are limited. Go here to sign up.
You can also sign up for the next kids’ workshop at Home Depot-coming up this Saturday the 7th from 9AM-12 (you’ll want to go early). It’s a tic tac toe game that might be fun for your kiddo to give as a present. You do need to register for these now, though from what I’ve heard they don’t fill. I have heard a few reports of stores running out of materials, so I think arriving early is still the best advice. These are recommended for kids 5-12, though I know readers have taken preschoolers and done some helping. Kids take home their project, plus an apron and a commemorative pin.
There is also a Lowe’s Workshop coming up, but those are chock full. Hopefully you got in when I mentioned it last month.
Huge thanks to Anna for leaving the tip about the McClendon’s workshop on the Sounds Fun Mom Facebook page.
