Did you know you can still see Luminasia at the Puyallup fairgrounds even though the fair is over? It’s true! The unique lighted lantern spectacle will be at the fairgrounds on weekends through October 13th.
I’ve been on the fence because of the ticket price, but my friend Kathy let me know it’s on Dealsaver today!
9.00 gets you an adult admission-that’s half off!
Better yet? I just spoke to Karen, the fair spokesperson, and she confirmed that you can use it on Sundays when kids get in free! Woot! So, if you have, let’s say, a family of 4, you could buy two adult tickets, take the kids, and have an outing for 18.00! Not bad!
If you want to go on a Friday or Saturday, you could also buy tickets for the whole family through this deal. The kids’ price is 12.00, so you’re saving a few bucks there, though obviously the big savings is on the grown up rate.
Don’t buy for anyone younger than 6-they’re always free.
Btw, I asked around for reviews on this attraction, and they’ve been mostly positive. Site friend Steve James of the Daffodil Festival suggests you leave the kids at home and make it a date night if you really want to appreciate the artistry. Otherwise, you’ll probably be able to walk the whole area in 20 minutes or so-a pretty quick trip. Other pals I’ve talked to thought it was very cool but spendy for the size. Everyone agrees that you really Must see it at night.
I went ahead and grabbed tickets for my husband and me. We’ll see if we take the boys……If you’d like to get some too, just head here to Dealsaver (I’ve used this site many times with no troubles). As always, read the fine print and make sure you can fit in a visit before it leaves! Thanks, Kathy!
