My big kids went back to school today (Sniff!), but I know many of you have little ones starting preschool later this month.
So, I thought I’d take just a minute to tell you about the best back to school book for little ones Ever. Period.
You may already know it ( a lot of teachers use it). If you don’t, it’s called The Kissing Hand, and it’s a gentle, reassuring story about a little raccoon and his mother that will remind your little ones that even when you aren’t right there with them, your love always is.
It’s great for new schools, new teams, new neighborhoods, and any time that calls for bravery. The recommended age is 3-8, though I really think it’s best for preschoolers.
If you’d like your own copy, the link above is my Amazon affiliate it, and it’s reasonably priced.
It’s also at most every library. Do you have a favorite back to school book? I’d love to know it!
