Get ready for another jam-packed week of South Sound summer fun!
Library programs are in full swing-my favs this week are in Tacoma, where kids can watch a free, award winning show on sharks (almost sure to be better than Sharknado).
There are also programs at just about every branch around, with lots of puppet shows and wildlife themed events.
You can explore all of those in the calendar.
Speaking of wild…..low tides continue this week. Readers in Gig Harbor and Tacoma can head to free events TODAY to check out sea critters in the sand. Here’s HarborWildWatch and Here’s the event with Metro Parks Tacoma.
Olympia area friends can have them brought up to you-scroll one down for the scoop on that!
You can also check my post on low tide exploration for tips on how to know when to go, and a list of suggested beaches.
It’s also another great week for free children’s entertainment, with big deal Caspar Babypants doing shows in Bonney Lake tonight and Auburn Wednesday. The full line up of kids’ concerts and shows for the summer is right here.
I have lots planned here at the site this week, too, including the start of our annual daycation series!
As always, I welcome your feedback, and I love to hear about adventures you’ve found!
