We don’t have any fancy vacation coming up this summer, but I am trying to plan a few special day trips.
If you are too, you might be interested in this half-off deal to Wolf Haven in Tenino from Living Social.
Wolf Haven is a sanctuary for wolves, and you can take an educational, guided walking tour to see (and maybe hear!) them.
We’ve never done this, but Henry has asked about it for years, so I picked this deal up myself-It’s 12.00 for Two adult admissions-or half-off.
Kids 4-12 are regularly 7.00, so you’ll save a bit on their tickets, but just a few bucks. I’ll let you decide whether it’s worth the voucher hassle.
Now, the folks at Wolf Haven are up front that this isn’t an outing for everyone. The tour is about 45 minutes, and because loud, disruptive behavior can stress the wolves, they ask you to consider your child’s temperament before coming out. The best way to decide might be to check out their virtual tour, and see if it holds your kids’ interest.

Oh cool, I was driving in Tenino the other day and saw the sign and was wondering if there were really wolfs there.
