Dan at City Blocks Lego Studio in Freighthouse Square is doing Lego day camps again this week. Give him a call to check availability. They’re a great deal, and  Henry did one over Christmas break and Loved it (Of course).

Monday

Military Monday at Discovery Village in Gig Harbor  Special discount for members of the military

Special Daytime Shows of The Princess and the Pea from Olympia Family Theater 10:30 AM or 1PM  short shows just right for young audiences

Play to Learn at the South Hill Library 1:30-3:00  Drop in programs for kids 6 and under with caregivers; songs, stories and play

Tuesday

Puppet Show at the Yelm Library  11AM

Science Day in Olympia  On the 3rd floor of the capitol rotunda staff from the Pacific Science Center will be on hand from 9AM-1PM with a variety of science fun

It’s 1.00 day at the Starplex in Federal Way! Tickets are just 2.00 other days. Small upcharge for 3D Choices include Wreck it Ralph and the Rise of the Guardians

Read With A Dog at the Puyallup Public Library  Kids can drop in and practice their skills with a patient, canine listener 3:30-4:30

Power Parenting Worshop at the Hands-on Children’s Museum in Olympia Free, evening workshops on parenting topics with supervised childcare in the museum. Registration required.

Wednesday

Balloon Twister at Ikea today  12-2

Tot Time at Learning Sprout Toys in Tacoma  Always a good idea to confirm first

Play to Learn at the Parkland/Spanaway Library at 10 or Graham at  1:30-3:00  Drop in programs for kids 6 and under with caregivers; songs, stories and play

Story Time at the Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park 11AM  Art and stories with nature/science themes

Fetch Club at the Gig Harbor Library Science club for kids in grades 3-5 based on the popular PBS series. 4PM Build a cup tower! This location requires registration

It’s Free Day at the White River Valley Museum in Auburn(Admission is just 2.00/1.00 other days). Small, but kid friendly

Free Day for City of Tacoma residents at the Point Defiance Zoo  Photo id and proof of residence, such as a utility bill, required

Down the Rabbit Hole Puppet Show at the Renton Highlands Library 7PM

Juice and Jammies story time at the Olympia Barnes and Noble 7PM

Thursday

Face Painting at Ikea today 12-2

Critter Club at the Point Defiance Zoo  Program for preschoolers with stories, crafts, and animal encounters. Fees required; does not include zoo admission. Advance sign up holds your place and saves you 2.00.  8.00 member child/10.00 non-members/12.00 day of registration  Henry and I did a few of these, and they were excellent. Also on Friday 11AM

Exceptional Families Workshop at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma  Monthly, evening workshops for parents of children with special needs  Pre-registration required if you’d like to bring your child. 6PM  Admission is pay as you will

Friday

Arts and Crafts at Ikea today; It’s a picture frame. 12-2
