I don’t typically write about outings we haven’t tried out ourselves, but I thought this looked worth mentioning for my Olympia area friends.
It’s an annual event at the Nature Nurture farm in Olympia. This year’s is on Saturday, December 8th ( Do note that it’s Only on this date). Kids can visit with animals and enjoy the 23 acre farm. There are also refreshments and photos with Cowboy Santa available for purchase. Kids 5 and under get in FREE, and through Living Social you get everybody else Admission to the holiday festival at Nature Nurture farm in Olympia for half-off, or just 5.00 a piece.
Nature Nurture Farm works with at risk youth, and all the proceeds from this event will go towards their programs. You can check them out on Facebook, or read more about this event on their website.
It looks like they also hold regular open farm dates, for a 5.00 donation, so you may want to keep this one in mind for the future if the 8th doesn’t work for you. If you’ve been before, feel free to leave a comment, and if you decide to do this deal, I’d love to hear a report back!
For still more deals on holiday experiences, don’t forget to check the Deal of the Day page. You’ll also find plenty of free happenings in the South Sound holiday events guide. If you live at the other end of SFM territory, make sure you’ve read my post on Santa and farm animal fun at Pfaff’s Old Fashioned U Cut Tree Farm.
