Story time is back at all area libraries! Every day this week, there are multiple events for all ages. Here is the link for Pierce County (change the date in the calendar on the left). Read with a Dog at the Puyallup Public Library Kids can drop in and practice their reading skills with patient listener, Pepper. 3:30-4:30
Fetch With Ruff Ruffman at the South Hill Library 2-3 Science based club for kids in grades 3-5 based on the popular PBS series. Registration required A different session is from 4-5. Also requires registration

Juice and Jammies Story Time at the Olympia Barnes and Noble 7PM Three stories and a little juice. Every Wednesday
Spooky Stories at the Spanaway Library 7PM Free evening event for the family. Storytellers and treats. Recommended for 5 and up.

Totally Awesome Thursdays at the Orting Library Today’s event is a book club discussion for kids in grades 3-5 on How to Train your Dragon Registration required
Chess Club is back at the Gig Harbor Library Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to drop in each week for 20 minutes of instruction and 40 minutes of game play 6-7 PM
Performances of Go, Dog, Go! by Olympic Family Theater begin. This *might be thrifty Thursday; I have to call to check.
Safety Tips and Super Stories A special preschool story time at the Puyallup Public Library with police offers giving safety tips in time for Halloween 10AM
Nature Numbers At the STAR Center in South Tacoma 10:30 Nature themed math literacy fun for preschoolers 3-6. Registration and fees required.
Scary Halloween Stories at the Lakewood Library Free family event with the fireside story telling league 7PM
