Here at Sounds Fun Mom we’re literally jumping with excitement about the new Trampoline Nation in Federal Way. Brian, the athletic director, gave me a behind-the-scenes-tour, and I was so impressed I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it.
It’s a sparkling clean, 22,000 square foot facility, with 12,000 square feet of trampolines, divided into zones. The Launch Zone offers a large jumping area for all, with a section netted off just for little ones. The launch surface is level with the floor, so there is no tricky step up or down. I love this!
Your more advanced tricksters can check out the unique Half Pipe and Trick Nation zones. There are also areas designated for ball sports, and plans are in the works for a variety of exercise classes and specialty programs.
Each zone will have “Air Guards,” on hand to make sure that everyone stays safe and friendly. “Flight instructors,” will help even advanced jumpers learn new skills. Brian tells me that the staff includes a sponsored snowboarder and a Level 9 gymnast!
The upstairs has tables and chairs where parents can relax with the free Wifi in view of their jumpers. There are also four private party rooms, and Brian tells me they started booking parties opening weekend.
What I love about Trampoline Nation is that it truly offers fun and fitness for the whole family. There just aren’t many destinations where your preschoolers, your big kids, and your tweens and teens can all have a blast.
