Update: Reader Barb says the no-horns hour wasn’t enforced well last year because of kids eager to honk. If your kids are sensitive to loud noises, you may want to pass on this one. She says hers had a short trip!
I’ll include this event in my weekend list, but I wanted to give you a little head start on your planning, as this is always one of my most popular posts.
It’s Touch a Truck time at Sprinker this Saturday! Never been? It’s a FREE (food bank donations welcome) chance for kids to climb in, on, and around all kinds of things that go, from tow trucks to fire trucks to search and rescue vehicles and everything in between. You can even bring your own documents to get shredded for free in the mobile shredder!
There is also a special, “No horns,” time for kids with sensory issues from 12-1.
Touch a Truck is popular, so you’ll need a bit of patience, and prepare for the weather, as it’s a rain or shine event. I promise your little vehicle lovers will think it’s worth it!
