Looking for a fun, affordable preschool with a state of the art curriculum and an experienced teacher?
How about one where you could drop your kiddo off, get childcare for his little brother, and still have time for a workout?
There really is such a magical place, and it’s right in South Tacoma at the new STAR center.
I’ve written about the STAR center before. It’s a beautiful, new community center with tons of programs to offer the whole family. This fall, they’re adding a preschool for 3-5 year olds to their already impressive slate of classes and activities. It uses a, “Play, Learn, and Grow,” curriculum, which means kids learn important pre reading and mathematics skills through a combination of instruction and hands-on activities like cooking, puppetry, and music. The teacher has over 30 years of experience, and the classes are kept small. Even with all these great perks, the tuition is very affordable.
Plus, if you have a STAR family pass, you can work out while your child is in class, and little brothers or sisters can play in the awesome, fully staffed play space just for them!
They do intend to keep class sizes in the preschool small, and I have a feeling this is going to be a popular program, once word gets out. Sessions begin the 10th, so you can sign up now, and your preschooler won’t miss a thing. To find out more about the preschool or any of the STAR programs, call 253-404-3939.
