Monday

Summer Playground programs and free lunch have begun in most areas.

Explore the Shore Low Tide event at Owen’s Beach at Pt.Defiance 9AM

Puppet Theater Presents at the Bonney Lake Library 11AM Stone Soup and other stories, for ages 6 and up; Also in Buckley at 2:30

Caspar Babypants performs at the Gig Harbor Library at 2PM for ages 0-6 with an adult; limited seating

 Tuesday

Car seat checks at Mary Bridge Link has info on other dates and locations. Check calendar for info. on bf support classes; new baby & childbirth classes & more.

1.00 Summer Movies at Regal Cinemas Looks like Dolphin Tale and Happy Feet II at most theaters.  In Puyallup? Don’t forget to pick up your free mini cupcake at Jubilee. Tell Patti you saw it on Sounds Fun Mom!

1.00 Showing of Despicable Me at Cinemarks in Federal Way and Olympia

Tiptoe Through the Tidepools Low tide event at Titlow Beach with Tacoma Nature Center staff 10AM

Puppet Theater Presents at the Parkland/Spanaway Library 11AM or Summit at 2:30 Stone Soup and other stories, for ages 6 and up; Also in Buckley at 2:30

Summer Stories and Crafts for ages 3-6 and their grown ups South Hill at 10, 11, and 6:30

Harbor Wild Watch at Kopachuck and Joemma at 10AM Look for naturalists under the blue tent to help you explore the beach at low tide.

PajamaRama Preschool Dance Party at the main library in Tacoma. Wear your jammies and come to boogie! 1PM

Low Tide Events at Burfoot with the South Sound Estuary Association 12-3 *Link will take you to the schedule for the whole summer.

Around the Campfire Sing-along at Federal Way 320th Library 2PM Free tickets beginning at 1:30

Raccoon Tunes and Possum Tales Music Show at the Covington Library at 3PM

Read to Pepper at the Puyallup Public Library Drop in between 3:30-4:30

Hooray for the USA  Make a patriotic craft at the Swasey Library 3-4 PM

Passport to Imagination at Michael’s stores Travel themed craft program . Tuesdays-Thursdays 1-4 USA themed craft today

Wonderland Tea Party in Lacey at 6:30 PM (Scroll to the bottom of the list) Part of the Children’s Summer Entertainment Series

Wednesday

It’s the 4th of July! Head here for my list of South Sound 4th of July events. There are shows and festivals all over, or for something different, you can swim for free in Tacoma!

Thursday

Creation Station at Learning Sprout Toys in Tacoma Call or check their fb page to confirm

Summer Stories and Crafts for ages 3-6 at the Graham Library at 10:30

Story Hour at the Conservatory Science and nature themed stories and crafts at the conservatory in Wright Park. 5.00 suggested donation. You might want to plan on playing at the playground/sprayground after. 11AM

Puppet Theater Presents at University Place at 10:30 or Key Center at 2:30 Stone Soup and other stories for ages 6 and up.

Comic Show with Alex Zerbe at the Wheelock Library 11AM or 3PM at Fern Hill

Harbor Wild Watch at Narrows at 11 and Penrose at 11:30 Look for naturalists under the blue tent to help you explore the beach at low tide.

Passport to Imagination at Michael’s stores Travel themed craft program . Tuesdays-Thursdays 1-4 Free events suitable for kids 3 and up. Kenya themed craft today

Friday

Dancing Pajamas Concert at Federal Way 320th at 11AM Free tickets starting 10:30

Magician Jeff Evans at the Tillicum Libary at 2 and Lakewood Library at 11AM

Harbor Wild Watch at Penrsoe  at 11AM Look for naturalists under the blue tent to help you explore the beach at low tide.

Sadako and the Thousand Cranes Movie and origami activity at the Puyallup Library Recommend for 3rd graders and up 3PM
