Touch A Truck – Tukwila 11am to 3pm; Free event. Kids can explore trucks of all types with help from the professionals who use them. Vehicles on display may include construction trucks, utility vehicles, emergency responders, buses and semi trucks. Tow Mater from Disney’s Cars will be on hand for photo opportunities for a fee that will benefit projects by the Tukwila Rotary. Thanks, ThriftyNWMom. I totally missed this one. Geesh….

Water Weekends at HCC Mast at Redondo Every Saturday you can get up close with critters in the touch tanks and learn about sea life. Today, from 11-1 you can attend the Octopus Graduation Party Free

Life on a Colonial Lavender farm The Blue Willow Lavender farm on the Key Peninsula welcomes visitors every Saturday through August with costumed actors recreating life on a colonial lavender farm. Free admission; variety of lavender goodies available for purchase.
Slug Fest at Northwest Trek Special weekend of slug themed fun at trek. All activities are included with admission. Admission to Trek is steep; SFM recommends springing for an annual pass if you’d go two or more times. There are combo. options that include the Pt.Defiance Zoo you may want to consider.
