Critter Club at the Point Defiance Zoo Zoo themed stories and special crafts/animal encounters for 3 and 4 year olds. Register in advance to save and guarantee your spot. Also on Friday. 11AM It’s perfect pets today.
Kids’ Workshop at the Home Depot It’s a window bird feeder. Arrive early for these popular, free workshops. 9AM-12
Free story time at Cabela’s in Lacey The first Saturday of the month kids can hear outdoor themed stories in the walled tent area.
Read with a dog at the Gig Harbor Library at 10AM Kids can drop in and practice their reading with a patient canine listener

Water Weekends with HCC Mast at Redondo Every Saturday visit the center for free and get up close with sea critters in their touch tanks
Springamajig in Tacoma Free community event with petting zoo, entertainment, and more.

Moose Mania at NW Trek Special moose themed activities included with admission. Admission is pricey; Consider buying a membership if you’d go more than twice.
Letterboxing Workshop with the Tacoma Nature Center Parents and children participate together in making a rubber stamp and learning about letter boxing, which involves finding hidden, “Treasures,” and recording in a log book. It’s sort of a low tech Geogaching. Registration is required. Read the course description for age requirements etc..
