Open House at Midland Co-operative Preschool in Summit Midland has unique programs for children as young as 2. Check ’em out between 10:oo-11:30. Bring the kids! They can play while you meet the teachers and check out the classroom.

Creative Movement Dance for Kids at 9:30 with Zumba for parents next door in Lakewood with Aimee and Darlene and Studio 138. Kids class at their neighbor, Freedom Dance Center
Mommy and Me Crafts at the Ben Franklin in Bonney Lake Moms and preschool age (and younger) children are invited for crafts and social time. 5.00
It’s 1.00 day at the Starplex in Federal Way (tickets are just 2.00 other days).

Early release movie at the University Library 1:30 Kid suitable title to celebrate your early release day
Fetch Club at the South Hill Library Science club for 3rd-5th graders based on the popular PBS series. Registration required. Two times: 2-3 (Registration Required) or4-5 (Registration Required) Also in Fife today at 4 (Registration Required).

Fetch Club Tween Time New version of the science club based on the PBS series. This one is at the Orting library for kids 9-12, and is a drop-in program-no registration needed. 3:30-5
Read with a Dog at the Puyallup Public Library 3:30 It’s Dan today. Drop in and practice your skills with a patient, canine listener.
Chess Club is back at the Gig Harbor Library 6-7 PM for ages K-8
Hunger Games Party at the Garfield Book Store at PLU I’ll let you decide who this is for…teens? You?? 6PM Games, food, drink, prizes. Enter to win tickets to the midnight premiere.
Friday
Friends of the Lakewood Library Used Book Sale 10AM-4:30 Also on Saturday. The library says they have quite a lot of materials for children and home schoolers. You might consider joining the Friends of the Library if you’d like to get in on pre-sale days for members only.
