Here’s an upcoming event I think you’re going to love (think of it as my Valentine to you).
It’s Paper Airplane Flight School at the Olympic Flight Museum.
This year’s event is Saturday, February 25th. Participants get instruction in paper airplane building (there is a lot of physics and science at work in flight), as well as a snack and tour. How cool is that? Of course, the event ends with flying contests.
The cost is 7.00 per participant and 5.00 for spectators. I didn’t find anything about suggested ages. I’ll try to make some calls later for you.
I have Two really big posts I’m working on, but I’m helping at Henry’s Valentine’s Party this morning. I’ll try to get them up later…..if I’m not taking a really, really long nap.
Don’t forget to mail levy ballots in and show your schools some love! Whether you think of this as a day of romance, or like me, you call it, “Pink Halloween,” I hope you make time to hug your sweeties. If you’re looking for more ideas, I do have several in the weekly list.
