A quick note of welcome to any new readers finding this post via RangerKen at Northwestmilitary.com. I write about family events for the South Puget Sound. I hope you’ll consider exploring the site, visiting, again, or checking out the fun Sounds Fun Mom Facebook community. On for your princess fix…..
For someone with two boys, I spend a lot of time writing about princess events.
The latest in royal news: Two upcoming events in Puyallup and Sumner. The Sumner events are with the Daffodil princesses, and these have all sold out in previous years. The Puyallup event is with slightly more well known royalty (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty et.al). Both are tea events.
The Puyallup Princess Tea Party is on March 3rd from 12-1:30. Tickets are 12.oo for adults and 10.00 for children. Tickets went on sale Friday and advance registration is required. The event will include snacks and tea party etiquette. You are invited to byotcs-that’s bring your own teacup and saucer.
The Daffodil Princess Tea is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th. Choose the first seating of each time slot to make sure your little girl gets a tiara and an autograph book. Tickets to this one are 20.00 a person. The girls will get lots of face time with the young women from this year’s Daffodil Court, and there will be plenty of photo ops. as well.
If the price for these seems a little royal for your budget, I spoke with Steve James from the festival a couple weeks ago, and he assured me the girls will again be doing free community events, such as last year’s uber popular library story readings.
Know of another event that’s worth planning ahead for? Let me know!
