Somehow, Christmas always sneaks up on me. I don’t know how this happens, since it’s on the same day ever year, but it does! If you have a similar problem, you’re going to love this recipe because it makes totally festive looking cookies, and you can pull it off in five minutes! Add some egg nog to your coffee, drag the kids off the dog-gone Wii, and turn on the carols. Ta-dah-Christmas!
The key to these babies is Pillsbury Funfetti mix. You could also use a regular white or yellow mix if you add extra sprinkles.
To make them, you basically just combine the mix, an egg, a bit of a water and oil. Then add any extra sprinkles you’d like. When they cool, sprinkle them with powdered sugar. You can get the full recipe here.
This recipe is from Megan’s Munchies, and I think you’ll have fun with it. I should note that Megan’s cookies look more Christmas-y and less, well, Pink. If you’d like yours to be similar, make sure to stir all the other ingredients before you add the sprinkles, and try to take it easy with them (yes, even when the recipe has 5 ingredients the SFM test kitchen can mess it up).
