Who’s up for a bit of adventure?
This Thursday is Winter Fest at the Morse Wildlife Preserve, which is a bit of totally preserved habitat outside of Graham.
There will be nature hikes, cocoa, crafts, and a storyteller. Best of all, you’ll have the chance to explore this special place which is only open to the public a handful of times all year. There is a newly constructed board walk, too!
You’ll want to dress for the weather and wear boots. To see the whole flyer, click below.
You do need to register; when I called there were about 16 spots. The event is from 10AM-1PM, and I’m pretty sure you can choose how much of that time to stay. To sign up and get all the scoop you need, call 253-565-9278 You will probably have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Be extra nice-This is pretty much an all volunteer operation. Or, you can send an email to email@example.com They’ll give you directions depending on your starting point. Parking is limited, so if you recruit some pals, consider carpooling.
