Going, going….It’s the last days for Fantasy Lights in Spanaway, Zoolights at Point Defiance, and the Model Train Festival at the History Museum in Tacoma,
and Winter Wildland at Northwest Trek Special holiday/winter themed activities included with admission. Admission is Pricey-there might be a bogo coupon in the Entertainment Book, or consider a membership if you’d go even twice (I think the combo zoo/trek is the best deal).
Skating at Franciscan Polar Plaza has been extended for a week.This weekend you can ride Clarence the camel for 5.00. Camels will arrive at 10AM Saturday and Sunday and stay as long as there is interest.

New Year’s Eve activities for kids at Discovery Village in Gig Harbor 11AM-2PM crafts, dancing, sensory activities 12.00 per child or 3.00 for members/adults free
Happy New Year with Nancy Stewart 11AM Join the popular children’s musician for music, dancing, and hat making at the main branch of the Tacoma Public Library
New Year’s Eve Party at the Hands-on Children’s Museum in Olympia 10AM-3 special activities, live music, and treats 10.50 per child/discount for members/adults free
A Little Princess at the Tacoma Public Library 3PM This is the 1917 Silent classic with Mary Pickford. Watch it with a new score by a local harpist (honestly, I think this might be an event more for grown-ups). Let me know what you think!
New Year’s Eve skating party at Tiffany’s Skate Inn in Puyallup 7:30-12:30 skating, prizes, balloon drop at midnight 16.00/non skating adult chaperones are free
