Like it or not, we’re nearing the end of summer-but I say we don’t let it go without squeezing out that last bit of fun. Who’s with me??

Meet and Greet with the Sumner/Bonney Lake MOMS club. Reader Diana asked me to post this event which she says is open to all area moms with kids of any age. Playgroups are forming for the fall! You’re welcome to bring along the kids and a picnic if you want. They’ll provide games and desserts. 10:30 AM at Loyalty Park in Sumner.

Summer Sounds at Skansie Concerts by the water in Gig Harbor every Tuesday evening. Not geared towards children but family friendly Join Harbor Wild Watch at 5PM to see ocean critters brought up by a diver and other aquatic life visible by dock light.
Get Your Feet Wet Touch tank program with naturalists from Harbor Wild Watch at the Skansie Farmer’s Market
It’s fair time in Bremerton. Head to the fairgrounds for the start of the Kitsap County Fair
Read with a doggie friend Kids can drop-in anytime between 2-3 to practice their reading skills with a patient canine pal. Mixed breed Dan is up today.
