HC MAST water weekends at Redondo-The center is open again every Saturday from 10-2. Kids can touch sea critter in the tanks and learn about other aquatic animals. See the new octopus!

While your kids sign up for the summer reading program, don’t forget that Tacoma has one for adults, too! Earn tickets to the Grand and a chance at a Kindle!

Tiptoe Through the Tidepools event at Titlow Beach 12-3 I am really getting my head mixed up with these events, because I could have sworn this weekend’s was at Owens Beach. Sigh. Anyway, the tide will be low all over the sound, so if you don’t want to go to Titlow and meet up with their naturalists, just find a beach here! Read more about South Sound Low Tide Events. If you go to Titlow, you can also tour the reopened lodge.
