I hope a couple of you get that reference. Moving on….
A quick heads-up about a couple events at area malls that didn’t make What Sounds Fun This Week.
First, Tonight is Mom’s Night Out at the Tacoma Mall. There will be makeovers, goodie bags, and giveaways. Plus, Angela from The Coupon Project will be there. If you’re a fan of hers, like I am, it’s a fun chance to say, “Hi.” I actually met her wearing my swimsuit at Great Wolf Lodge, and she managed to act like it was completely normal.
Second, if you’re one of my South King County readers, you might want to head to Southcenter (are we still calling it Southcenter or is it Westfield?) tomorrow. Thursday is a Family Day event with Cat and the Hat stories and activities. Southcenter (Westfield?) puts out a whole calendar of events every month. It’s super small, but you can click on it to enlarge it or print it out for your fridge.
Not your neck of the woods? I hope some of you made it to Monday’s Momtopia event at the Super Mall. I think these free, monthly events are really the pick of the malls in terms of activities for the preschool set. The Tacoma Mall also has occasional kids’ activities as part of their Simon Kids’ Club. I list these in my regular events listings. The South Hill Mall in Puyallup also has a kids’ club, but it costs 10.00 to join, so so far I’ve refused to participate. I’m stubborn like that.
