Thinking about doing the .25 cent sale at Kidz Kaboodle tomorrow? I mentioned it in my guide to secondhand shopping here. Kidz Kaboddle is a consignment store on 6th Avenue in Tacoma, and once a month they run a sale where leftovers are just .25 a piece!
Well, I found two more Great posts for you to read. They’re half inspiration (a bike trailer for a quarter! an exersaucer for a quarter!) and half super scary (a tug of war? really??) Here’s the first post from Rachel at Cloud9Couponing, and here’s the second from Rachelle at Take Your Best Shot. Rachel’s is an absolute hoot, but I really want you to look at Rachelle’s because it has great pics. of the darling, 84 pieces of clothing she got for .25 a piece. In case you don’t think you can get anything cute for a quarter, seriously-check it out! In case you’re still doing math in your head, that’s 84 pieces of kids’ clothing for 21.00-which I think is the price of one shirt and a pair of underpants at Gymboree.
I definitely think you should try to hit this if you’re a mom of babes on a budget. Just leave your kiddos at home and take one of your polite but firm friends. Then come back here and tell me how you did!
When are the sales usually?
Hi, Jennifer, This spot has changed ownership, but they still have a lot of good sales, including their famous quarter sale on Fridays. I’m not sure how often they do them, but they have a fb page they update regularly. I’d suggest following that until we can get this post updated!
