Cheap deals seems to be the theme this week. In that spirit, here’s a hot tip I bet you didn’t know about. .Did you know you can get end rolls of paper from the News Tribune? They’re the giant rolls that come off the printing presses, and they’re perfect for doodles. The paper is newsprint, so it’s on the thin side and not exactly white. I wouldn’t use it for a masterpiece, but it’s great for the scribbling set or to help protect your table. My mom used to get these for us way back when, and I had totally forgotten about them until my friend Lisa (unpaid SFM Editor at Large) reminded me. Want to score one? They’re 2.50 a piece, and you can pick them up in the TNT lobby on Thursday mornings between 9-11AM.
Need something to do today? If you’re in Puyallup, you might want to hit Lego madness at the South Hill library this afternoon. Santa is at the Dupont library this evening. More scoop about those events here. There are open playtimes at Jump! in Gig Harbor and Pump it Up in Tacoma. You can get more scoop in the bounce house list.
If you’re just getting here this week, do scroll down for scoop on a cheap subscription to Family Fun magazine, kids’ clothes for twenty-five cents (you read that right)! and winter break camps to keep your guys busy.
I have more fun posts planned for later today, plus I’m choosing a winner in my stocking stuffer giveaway! Have a great one!
