Now there is a headline you don’t see every day!
I wanted to give you a heads-up about two special holiday events at libraries in the Pierce County Library system.
The first is the Gingerbread House Making event for kids 5 and up that I mentioned here. Now, these events have been filling up Fast. In fact, the only sessions that aren’t full or wait listing are the ones in Gig Harbor on the 18th and Key Center on the 11th. Good news for my readers on the Peninsula! Pop into the library soon to register, though. You can try your hand at the wait list for other libraries.
A second event open to all, and not requiring registration, is a puppet show. Now, if your kids have only seen the hand-in-the-sock variety, I think they’ll be intrigued by this event. The puppets are marionettes, and it’s an old fashioned in-the-round show. To attend, you just get a free ticket the day of the event. The first one is tomorrow, in Graham. Check the schedule for when they’ll be performing at your library. Do try to show up early for these events so your kiddos can get a good seat.
If you haven’t been by in a while, you can go one post down for my “Best of,” wrap-up. Don’t forget there is another sale at the Mega Brands warehouse going on now! You’ll find that scoop here!
I have more posts lined up for you today, with some serious cuteness afoot (Or should I say a hoof? There is your hint..)
I’ll have my big weekend events list up for you tomorrow. You might think about sharing my site with a pal or two before then. Got some email groups? Send ’em a link to the site!
