Phew! It’s not even 11:00, and I’ve already been late for three things today! If you’re just getting here, I’ve got a post on a great little hike in Tacoma as well as a preview of weekend events. Just scroll down.
I do want to take a second to remind you about a couple of fun things. First, for my readers in the Puyallup area, it’s not too late to sign up for art classes at the Fred Oldfield Center. The preschool class is just 2.50 a week (yes, you read that right), and the older classes are just a bit more. All classes are taught by volunteer artists, and kids get to use a variety of materials and really learn about art. My kids have totally different personalities, but both love this place. Classes are offered for all ages, including adults. Right now there is lots of room in all classes, so pass this one on to your friends. It’s also a great resource for home schoolers.
Second, my Chinook Book giveaway runs through tonight. A special welcome to QueenBee readers. While this isn’t a bargain blog, you will find plenty of thrifty fun here! If you’re one of my regular readers, Heather over at QueenBee coupons, is a bargain hunter extraordinaire, and she posts lots of great deals-even for non clippers!
Do read on to find out about walking at Swan Creek, and check back often this week, as I have lots of fun posts planned (starting with the announcement of the Chinook Book winner)!
As always, drop me a line if you have a great idea to share, and thanks for telling your friends about SoundsFunMom!
