First, I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments on the Sounds Fun Mom launch. You’ll notice that I now have a handy button in the sidebar if you’d like to subscribe to the site. You can also share posts on Facebook (while you’re there be sure to find the Sounds Fun Mom page and, “like” us)! I’ve also simplified the contact page, so if you have ideas for future posts, be sure to drop me a line!
Now that kids are back to school, area libraries are starting up their popular storytimes. To be totally honest with you, neither of my kids ever liked storytime. Jack thought there was too much singing and not enough story. Henry just couldn’t sit still. Believe me, as an English teacher, this just about Killed me. If yours are more agreeable, you can find the schedule for every Pierce County Library storytime here. If you only want to check yours, change the location. You can also look for October events, by changing the calendar. Note that some sessions are geared for different age groups-has anyone ever been to an evening story time in jammies?

Puyallup and Tacoma have their own libraries, but if you have a city card, you can get a county card, and vice versa. Now, good luck keeping track of all those books!
Here’s your links for Puyallup and Tacoma storytime schedules.
