Annie Wright Schools’ summer program balances fun with learning and gives children and teens the opportunity to practice skills and experiences they may not have time for during the school year. All of Summer@Annie Wright’s programming is open to students from ANY school.
Camp Wright for students entering Grades 1-8. Campers spend their days rotating through activities ranging from educational stations (math, reading, and science) to arts and crafts to lawn games. Campers are placed into grade-based groups of approximately 15-25 students. Each group has its own counselor and assistant counselor, as well as assistance from youth volunteers.
Camp Junior is for students entering Preschool, Prekindergarten and Kindergarten. Camp Junior provides younger campers with a summer experience tailored exactly to their needs. Lower student-to-counselor ratios, just-right sized tables and chairs, quiet time and engaging learning stations make Camp Junior the perfect place for your youngster this summer. In addition to fun crafts and activities, campers swim two to three times per week.
Annie Wright’s Specialty Camps allow campers to pursue their passions more deeply. These theme-based camps are all led by fabulous instructors who also share the specific passion. Each week offers morning Specialty Camps (9:00 am-12:00 pm) and afternoon Specialty Camps (1:00-4:00 pm). A few Specialty Camps run all day or for more than a week.
Camp Wright and Camp Wright Jr. have the same hours: 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Structured programming runs 8:30 am-4:30 pm; supervised free play happens outside of these hours. We also offer early drop-off and late pick-up options.
