Here’s the first edition of the Sounds Fun Mom list of places kids can eat free or cheap around the South Puget Sound.
Most of these came straight from suggestions on the SFM Facebook page. Really-it’s the coolest fb page around.
Several others came from the in the know folks at ParentMap. If you’re closer to Seattle, ParentMap has a great list of Seattle area spots.

Trapper’s Sushi Kids eat free with adult purchase on Sundays. Check fb page for other specials.
Taco Del Mar-Kids eat free with adult purchase on Sundays. These are independent franchises, so call yours first to confirm. They also have a kid’s club and kids can get coupons on their birthdays.
IHOP-Many IHOPS offer daily kids eat free specials. At some, this is only after 4PM. At others, it is all day, and yes, there are some not participating at all, so find yours and call first. Offer is a free kid’s meal with purchase of an adult meal and a kid’s drink.
Denny’s Kids eat free every day from 4-10 with adult purchase
Farrelli’s Pizza-Every Monday kids get a free kids’ meal with an adult purchase of 10.00. Lacey,Tacoma, Sumner, Parkland, Dupont
The Ram Kids eat for 1.00 on Mondays with adult purchase. This was true at all the locations I called, but check yours before heading out (I know; I’ve said that already).
**Most family friendly chains offer some kind of program where kids (and sometimes adults) can get special offers and coupons. Others send them out for birthdays. Sign up at any place you go frequently-just use an email just for this purpose if you don’t want yours filled up. I also change the dates of my kids’ birthdays because I don’t like to have that info. “out there.”
