It’s Pi Day!
If you’d like to celebrate there is a free event out at the Science Dome tonight. There will be a variety of hands on math and science activities from 5-7PM. It’s open to all, and it’s all FREE. You are asked to reserve tickets for the math symphony. As of this writing there are some for the 5PM show. If they’re sold out, you can still do all the other activities without reservations.
If you can’t make it, do think about attending one of the regular weekend shows at the Science Dome. It’s the area’s only indoor planetarium, and it’s just super, super cool. It’s also a Deal!
There is also a Pi Day event at the Puyallup Public Library tonight. It’s a free, drop in event with a variety of Pi themed fun and games. It’s from 4-5PM. If you go back at 7, the magic lantern show is also tonight. This is an all ages event with story telling accompanying slides. Think of it as the 1800s version of Netflix…..I think it looks super cool, but I’m scheduled to listen to some junior high band tonight.
Alternatively, you could go eat pie. We recommend the Tattered Apron if you’re near Puyallup. If you know other must-try spots, let us know!
