Registration has opened for the next Lowe’s Build and Grow events.
These popular, free building workshops for kids, do require advance sign-up, and they seem to fill faster and faster every time. Participants get a free apron, goggles, and a patch, in addition to their projects. I’ve only ever heard good things about these from readers, although some stores do seem to run them better than others.
The next one is on April 12th, and it’s a super cute recycling truck. As of now, there are spots at all locations. Woot! But don’t wait if you want in-mark your calendar, and sign up now!
There is also a free, kids’ building workshop coming up on April 5th at Home Depot. It’s a bird feeder with a tie in to the movie, Rio 2. These also now require registration, although they don’t seem to ever fill. Leave a comment if you know something different.
If you’re looking for something to do today, it looks like the Rainy Day Play tab is a good bet.
There are also lots of fun, library happenings this week, and another excellent story time at the Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park Wednesday. You’ll find details on all of those events by clicking on Calendar!
