I know quite a few of you are fans of the Tacoma Rainiers, so I thought I’d give you a heads-up on an upcoming party and some opening week deals that look decent to me.
The party is March 15th (Yes, I’ll remind you) from 11AM-2PM. You’ll have a chance to tour the dugout, sample concession food, and hang out with Rhubarb. There will also be a bouncy house, naturally. It’s free. Read on for the opening week ticket offers
The specials run April 3rd-6th, but you can only get them until March 15th, and they can be purchased online only. They include 8.00 tickets and some nice freebies. If you go on the Friday, there are also fireworks. Minor League games are always a good deal for the family compared to the majors, and they typically try to include some extras for the kids-at Rainiers games, the kiddos almost always get to run the bases with Rhubarb, the mascot. Note that if you go to purchase them, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your seats, and it should say, “Turn Back the Clock Offer.” Ticketmaster does add on their fees, so each ends up being 11.00.
I will say that the last time we went the parking was pretty miserable, and the concession stand was slow. We also got sopping wet, and they had to keep stopping the game, but the boys still thought it was great. They came home with free hats autographed by Rhubarb, and they loved watching the players.
If you’re a regular at Rainiers’ games (or Mariners’ games, for that matter), I’d love for you to share your thoughts on these deals and any great tips you have for enjoying a game with the family!
