Kids’ Summer Movie Programs at Regal and Cinemark! Shows Just 1.00 (or less)!

  • Sharebar

It’s almost time for cheap summer movies for the kids!  I’ll remind you about these, but here’s the rundown if you want to plan on some now.

Not familiar with these great programs? Theaters run them to bring families in, and it’s a great way to entertain the kids. Movies are typically older ones, but you still get the big screen experience! How crowded it is seems to depend on your location. If you want to comment on that, please do!

Here’s that schedule Olympia movie schedule

There will also be free, outdoor movies at parks all over the South Sound, and I’ll include all those in my weekend guides and calendar. Can’t wait? You can see bargain movies year round at the Starplex in Federal Way, and they usually have at least two kid friendly titles. Another option is the Blue Mouse in Tacoma, where tickets are 3.00 on Mondays and 5.00 the rest of the week. They only sometimes have family friendly options, but I do see Oz, the Great and Powerful, right now. The Grand in Tacoma also has a free movie once a month thanks to Click! The next one is June 15th, and it’s The Lorax.

Do you go to these cheap movies with your kids in the summer? Do you have another way to save on cinema? Leave a comment and let us know!

Comments

  1. Do both movies show each day, or is one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday?

  2. Do you know what week Regal Cinemas SUMMER MOVIE EXPRESS is in?

    • Hi, Kathy, it’s week one everywhere local, except for Lacey, which started the 18th, so it’s week two for that one. Hope that helps!
