Looking for something to do for Mother’s Day around the South Sound?
This list is only events specifically geared towards mom, but if you don’t find something, I also have an even bigger list of weekend fun for the whole family-from free festivals to quality family theater-any of which would make a great Mother’s Day outing. That will be up Friday morning, bright and early.

Most every area restaurant will also host a special brunch. These aren’t a bargain by any means, but if you’re interested, here are a few worth checking out:
Mother’s Day Brunch with Mt.Rainier Scenic Railroad. Two times on Sunday. I find this kind of pricey, but it might be worth it for a train fan.
For more traditional restaurant brunches, try Open Table to see what’s available.
Reservations are a must for all of these.
