Wondering what to do with the kids this weekend in Tacoma, Auburn, Lakewood, Olympia, or another South Sound spot?  You’ve come to the right place for a whole list of affordable South Sound fun for kids and families this weekend.

*I’m hearing that a lot of these are full-up into March! You could try checking a different store, or wait for the next Home Depot event-they don’t require registration. If your kiddos are old enough, check out the Get Geeky event at the Lakewood library. Michael’s stores are also doing events this weekend, open to all.

Kids Club at Michaels Craft stores. It’s  a Love Bug bag. Cost is 2.00; sessions start on the half hour. Never a bad idea to call to confirm national events with your store.

Family Nature Walk at Wapato Hills Park with Tacoma Nature Center Staff  Free, but registration is required. Not suitable for strollers; great for 3 and up! 10AM

Asia Pacific New Year Celebration Free event at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall  activities, entertainment, food vendors, cultural crafts for kids 11AM-6PM

Family Day at the Museum of Glass  Make valentine’s crafts and watch the artisans make special valentines themed pieces. Included with admission. You Should be able to go with a library pass. Or you can get half off admission through Groupon. *Only buy ’em for adults. Kids are only 5.00 any way, and kids 5 and under are free.

Family story time at the Wheelock Library 10:30

Lego my Library at the Puyallup Public Library 11AM  Drop in and do some Lego!
