What’s the best preschool in Gig Harbor? Many of my readers will tell you it’s the one at Discovery Village!
That’s right-your favorite children’s museum and play place has its own preschool program. Classes are available for 2′s,3′s, pre-K, and kindergarten enrichment. Problem solved alert: Children are not required to be potty trained!
Each class features a fun, developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by one of their amazing teachers. Kiddos get to enjoy centers like blocks and dramatic play, while also getting individual help on important school readiness skills like counting and pre writing. They’re also always adding new, innovative programs, like this coming year’s Spanish curriculum. Of course, little ones will also enjoy traditional preschool fun, plus play time on Discovery Village’s amazing indoor playground. This Saturday, Discovery Village will be hosting an open house, and you can bring along your little student and see for yourself if it’s a good fit. Check out the classrooms; meet the staff; let your kiddos explore and play. I’m guessing they won’t want to leave. The open house will run from 10AM-1PM.
