Just want to remind you about this fun, free event happening this afternoon! It’s the Old Town, Tacoma Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa visit! Santa will be on hand from 4-6, and there are Free photos and refreshments while supplies last (food bank donations accepted). If you can’t make it today, the Job Carr Museum is a fun stop. It won’t take you long, because it’s literally a cabin, but it’s a free and educational trip for school age kids. Sadly, the kid friendly Tully’s that used to be next door has closed, but there is new play equipment at the small park next door. You can read more in my post on a visit to the Job Carr Museum and Old Town.
Today is a Big day in the South Sound. In addition to this fun event, there is a tree lighting in Lacey and Christmas Ships and caroling in Gig Harbor. You can check it all out in my weekday list.
