Ongoing: Story time is back at all area libraries! Every day this week, there are multiple events for all ages. Here is the link for Pierce County (change the date in the calendar on the left). Here is the link for the Tacoma Public Library (change the date in the calendar on the left). If you’re one of my Thurston County readers, here is the link to Timberland regional library. Franciscan Polar Plaza ice skating in downtown Tacoma
The reindeer are in at Watson’s nursery in Puyallup Santa during most hours, too.
Monday
Rain got you down? I have lists of bounce house places, indoor playgrounds, and malls with soft play sections. Make a play date and grab a little pumpkin latte, why don’t you? Did you know Pump it Up in Tacoma has re-opened? It’s true!
Milk and Cookies with Santa at the Supermall 10AM free event for kids under 6 and parents. Free with Momtopia membership (also free; sign up online or at Customer Service by the Nordstrom’s Rack)
Registration opens at noon for the next free PBS Sparks program at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma. It’s the Electric Company, and it’s coming up on the 8th for kids 6-10 years old. These free programs fill lightning fast and registration is now online only. Be ready if you want in!
Tuesday
Car seat inspections at Good Sam Children’s Therapy Unit
Music and Movement at the Gig Harbor Library at 10:30 Children birth-5 are invited for a special session of music, songs, and play
Gingerbread House Making in Buckley 4 or 6. Register in the library.
Read to a Dog at the Sumner Library Kids can drop in and practice their reading skills with a patient, canine listener 4PM
Make a Gift at the Lakewood Library Kids 7 and up are invited to a free event to craft a special gift. Registration required. 5:30 Just 4 spots left!
Story time with Santa at Westfield/Southcenter 6PM Ongoing, weekly story time with Santa at the Macy’s Court New location near Wet Seal

Free First Friday at the Hands-on Children’s Museum in Olympia. Have you read our reader mom review yet? As this is the first free night in the brand new museum, they’re doing timed entry and asking you to register. Follow the link for all the details.
