If you’re near Puyallup tonight, consider heading to First Presbyterian Church (downtown, by the library) at 7PM to see the Asante Children’s Choir, a performance group made up mostly of orphans from the African country of Berundi. It’s a remarkable organization, and their shows are lively productions of Christian music.
If this isn’t in your area, you can see their full schedule here, which includes upcoming shows in Lacey and Federal Way. For more weekday options, see my regular list here. If you’ve been busy watching election results, or finishing up the Halloween candy, make sure you haven’t missed some other good stuff-like the Nutcracker ticket giveaway, and a Sounds Fun Mom reader special on parties at Trampoline Nation!
