At some point, Sounds Fun Mom is going to have a birthday party directory (I’ve got kind of a big list of things I’m working on….I swear I’ll get to all of them eventually). For now, I just thought I’d share good deals as they come up.
Henry’s preschool went on the coolest preschool field trip ever today. We went to Ted Brown Music in Tacoma, and the kids got to try their hands at tons of different instruments. It was very loud (very, very loud), but tons of fun, and it reminded me that I hadn’t mentioned Ted Brown parties to you!
That’s right….Ted Brown Music in Tacoma will organize and supervise a music themed party for your kiddos, and it is a Total Bargain (100.00 + taxes). It includes a party room, paper goods, the chance to perform on stage, and a staff member to help out. Party favors are available for 3.00 extra per kid (if you want to keep your friends I’d suggest shakers over kazoos…) Unless you managed to have your kids in a month warm enough to hit the park, this is the cheapest off-site party I’ve found. The only catch is you can only have a maximum of 10 kids, which means you can’t invite the whole kindergarten. As Henry’s teacher says, “Would you really want more?” She’s so smart. The party packages are styled for different ages, and I think the tween party would be a great solution if you have a 12 year old who thinks she’s the next Beyonce. The younger parties just look too darn cute.
I’ve had trouble getting a hold of folks at Ted Brown via their web site in the past, so if you’re interested, I’d call them directly or go on in.
